Came out at work

My boss was so great about it!  He was actually legitimately excited for me.  I knew he wasn't an a$$, but still!  I was expecting him to be a bit closer to the "um, didn't you just start working for me as a young, fairly inexperienced attorney, and now you expect me to deal with this??" position.  It was such a relief. 

Most of the people in our suite found out today (all attorneys) and everyone is so excited.  I'm so happy to be in an environment where attorneys actually value kids and family.  My last office would NOT have been the same way.  Now I just hope I can convince my boss to hire me permanently, give me benefits, more money, and maternity leave!

I'm jealous!  It still sucks.  But I'm so thrilled about this baby, that I keep telling myself it's totally worth it for a healthy little baby.  That being said, I'm really, really looking forward to 2nd tri
