It is a local place near where we live called Grill 1709.  I haven't heard great things about the food and the food is pretty expensive for a local bar/grill.

I will put on my best attitude about it, though and just enjoy our time together.  I know he is trying to find places we have never been, but I am just not thrilled about the choice.

Leslie-  I am really excited about the book club, too.  And really excited to meet all of you.

On Scott Disick:  He is greasy and disrespectful and looks like he belongs on Nantuckett.  However, I really wonder how much of "who he is" is for TV purposes.

Right. He was just telling her how getting the key to their house back from her mom got him all "horned up." I was eating and literally put my sandwich down to gag. Thanks Scott for helping me cut my calories in half!

But, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, to be honest. Last night was a little rough for me. 

I took a ton of medication to help me sleep and went to bed before 9pm, and didn't wake up until about 8. And I could have slept longer. 

I love the summer, but I'm ready for August to be here so I don't have to feel so overwhelmed 24-7. 

Awww, Summer, I'm sorry that you're feeling so overwhelmed.  Is it just school?

So on a side note, a friend of mine is all gung ho about her 1 year old being a model. She sent in pictures to an agency yesterday. I hate to be mean. But her kid isn't anything out of the ordinary. Is that mean? Of course I'd never tell her that.

But I've seen some gorgeous babies out there. And she's cute, don't get me wrong, but modeling material? I think not.

I feel like my friend is trying to live the childhood she wanted, through her child. She was never the "pretty one" in school, and never popular. And she's always said she wants her daughter to do cheerleading, and how she's going to be so pretty, blablabla. It's kind of sad to me.

*gasp*

I'm jk.    I obviously think my own child is gorgeous, but I'm also not pimping her out.  We did that one photo shoot for the children's clothing company... she didn't love it, so that's the end for us!

And the guy who cleans my house every two weeks?  Yeah, he's awesome.  He cleaned out the cat box!  Holy cow.

Julie-  Are you still using Cottage Care?  If so, does the same person clean your house each time?

Yes, she put me on his schedule when he could come to my house.  The good thing:  he has a cat and he likes them so he's okay with the girls coming to check him out (they do it with pretty much everyone who comes to the house--you get inspected).

I thought she was so cute in that shoot! My friend is really doing this for herself I'm afraid, not her 1 year old.
