Girls night: sangria and tapas
I'm hosting a sangria and tapas party for my girlfriends on Saturday (6-7 pm start). I'll be providing a good base of food and the sangria, but people will also bring tapas to share. Do you think a paella would be too much or would you do something light like a goat cheese an tomato tart (or both)? What would be your must haves for the party?
Re: Girls night: sangria and tapas
I don't know about you but I love bread with my sanria. It helps to soak up some of that wine!
This strawberry bruschetta is something I always like to serve, or your goat cheese and tomoto tart sounds good. This Savory Party Bread is something that has been a big hit before. Or a cheese fondue with bread to dip is a must for my group!
I think it really depends on the types of tapas that people are brining to determine whether or not you need paella. Do you know what people are bringing or is it all a surprise?
Is anyone bringing tortilla espanola (potato and onion omelet)? That's my fave!
Then, yes, I def think that you need paella. GL!
I would do the paella. Like the PP serve it in small portions.
Have fun!
