we made it! although this week went by pretty quickly for me, it was exhausting.
and of course it is supposed to be 65 and pouring on my white water rafting trip tomorrow. f*ck you, mother nature.
other than the weather, i am really looking forward to our weekend away. i am leaving here at 3 so we can head down to the bay state.
also, i just broke down our july finance calendar and i think i will be able to get my snow tires removed by august 1st (a little late, i know!) AND get three new dresses in two weeks.
AND i bought some benefit makeup and running water bottles this morning. yay.
Re: fridayyyyyy
I am going out to dinner and to see West Side Story in Boston tonight with my family (mom, dad, and sister.) Hubby will get to have a night alone in the house, which I know he won't mind!
Other than that, I need to do some errands tomorrow which includes going to the mall to pick up some Clinique stuff I am running out of, Bed, Bath and Beyond to potentially buy a new down comforter and Best Buy because I am obsessed with buying one of those bladless Dyson fans, even though they are like $500.00. I am ALMOST justifying the purchase because the weather here has not required an A.C. at all except for one night, but is PERFECT for a fan.
TGIF!
Last night trains were suspended. Of course. So I had to take another train and have my mom pick me up and take me to my car. I hit Pathmark on the way home and spent a farking mint on nothing. Everything is so expensive. Christ.
At home I picked up a bit and packed my gym bag. MFD keeps leaving dishes in the sink. Last night I put them on the baking sheet he also left out and put them out on the front step. When he got home from work he came in with them, sheepish and red faced and laughing. He said that one got an A++. I win.
I watched RWRR Challenge, then we watched the Casey Anthony Nightline. Cold-blooded sicko.
I was in bed at 10 and lights out by 10:30. Day one of "get 8 hours of sleep" is in the books.
It's finally Friday! Like I thought it was every other day this week.I need to clean out my email and clear off my desk today.
Tonight we are grilling. I might stop at Sam's on the way home. Tomorrow MFD leaves for MA at like 4 a.m. for a mummery job. I am hausfrauing and cooking, then heading to Michelle's around 5 for a BBQ. Sunday family pool party at my aunt & uncle's.
Morning everyone!
Today, I'm working from home, which means really, I'm going to try to clean as much as possible before my BFF comes in from MD to spend the night. We also have two other house guests this weekend. It's going to be a busy couple of days.
I wish I could afford a maid...
TTC since 2010

Suprise BFP Jan 15 2013. Hope this one sticks!
I will second being able to afford a maid.
Last night I got home did the dishes.. YAY ME! I hate dishes. I wish we had a dish washer. Watch "To young to be a dad" on lifetime for the 95813218 time. Feel asleep on the couch. When I woke up I watched some True Life on MTV.
I also watched RWRR Challenge and realized I haven't been watching them in a while because I didn't know some of the people. Some of those people need to get on with their life and step out of the RWRR lime light because they were on shows almost 15 years ago.
No plans this weekend. However, I think Greg might have Sunday off so we can spend the whole day together which we have not done since the opening of the new restaurant the beginning of May.
This is awesome! When I was in college I had a roommate that was a total slob. He would always leave dirty dishes in the sink for days and weeks at a time. I got to the point where I'd take them and put them in his room. One day I put them all in his bed and covered them over with the sheets. It's a wonder he didn't murder me in my sleep... :-)
Shauni - I'm totally jealous of the rafting trip! They should give you dry tops or wetsuits if it's too cold, and the rain won't be that bad. You'll be getting wet anyway, right? :-) Have an awesome time!
I'm exhausted and still sore from shots. I had to have K help me shower, dress and put on my deodorant this morning. Thank God that man loves me. My boss is out today for her bach party, and I'm pissed that I have a ton of work to do and can't peace out early. Soooooooo unbelievably happy it's Friday, though!
One of the gms from our wedding was supposed to show up today at noonish but showed up yesterday instead! We haven't seen him since Feb? Tonight we have a wedding then tomorrow we head out for "Rockin the Windfarm". Very fun filled weekend, with alot of beverage consumption.
I haven't worked out all weekend and managed to lose .5 lbs. I have no idea how that happened. My insomnia is still in full wack mode and AF is raging. I want to dip lays in melted milky ways...
DH worked from home yesterday (after the morning trains were suspended). He drove me to a nearby town on a different line and dropped me off. Then he had to pick me up there because the evening commute was suspended.
I have a bachelorette party tonight for my best friend. I have not been getting enough sleep the past two nights, so I'm going to be completely useless tomorrow. I already warned DH I'd probably spend most of the day sleeping.
I've got back to back 4 day weeks coming up. I can't wait.
grrr. my first post was eaten by the internet monsters. Here's the cliff's notes.
Happy it's Friday too for once b/c I have Saturday off work to have fun while browsing garage sales with Hubby on our quads.
Making more strawberry jam today, had to go buy more jars. too bad none of the people I gave jam to last year was nice enough to give my jars back.
Black raspberry is next on the list, but I probably have a week or so before they are ready to pick.
Bought an I Love Boobies!!! bracelet for breast cancer at our local gas station. HA!
Ladies, your commutes are sucky! So sorry to hear about all the train trouble. Mine has actually been pretty sweet the past few weeks, because the traffic always lets up when the college and other schools are out. Even the metering lights aren't on at my freeway onramp.
Relieved it's Friday. My ex-bf and his new wife (the wedding we went to over Memorial Day weekend) are coming to our house for dinner tonight, on their way home from their road trip honeymoon, and on their way to pick her son up from her parents' house. I haven't really been able to get to know her, and they haven't been able to get to know H, so I hope it goes well.
Tomorrow we're taking the pup to meet a good friend of mine to hike. Her first time, so hopefully she (the dog) likes it!
Hopefully just vegging out on Sunday, because I need a day of doing nothing.
H and I agree we're going to have to get maid service once the baby comes - we don't keep up properly on things now, and it'll only be more important after the baby is born. Now to find someone...
Morning ladies! Just wanted to say a quick hello.
Last night DH and I went for a 40 minute walk. This is a huge deal because Rich does not like to exercise.
Plans for the weekend include, going to the movies to watch Bad Teacher, doing laundry and cleaning house.
Things have been better at work. My annoying co-worker is leaving and moving back to Iowa. I'm glad he's leaving because he effed up everything and was the cause for the owner's blow ups. The owner has calmed down and things are better, but I'm still keeping my options open. There is a possible opportunity and I'm waiting for a call back. Keeping my fingers crossed that something good turns up.
Oh and congrats to the new mothers to be
what is this?? i want more info!

YAY FRIDAY! Yesterday after getting home, took the dog on a walk and let her soak in the creek that leads to the famous CA Delta, she lurved it and DH never found out (he doesn't like her going into the creek) because when we were walking back home, she rolled around in the sprinklers that were on at the nursery near us. After getting home, MIL picked me up and took me to K-Mart to get the gazebo for our backyard, yay now it shouldn't be 190876662 degrees in our dining room in the afternoons anymore (let's hope). DH and BIL are going to put this baby up tomorrow.
Today - working from home and trying to get some cleaning done. Tomorrow we'll put the gazebo up and might head to OSH as they are having a 25% off sale to see what kinds of annuals they have and I can do a small flower bed in the front yard. Supposed to run with a friend on Sunday morning but my Escape is up on jacks in the garage as DH and FIL are fixing my wheel bearing in the front.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Bribe her :-) It worked for E. Girls are usually pretty easy, I bribed E with a new tinkerbell doll if she stayed dry all weekend. It worked! Good luck and enjoy her :-) They soo much fun!
Jessie - rockin the windfarm sounds awesome. Can I come?! I have fond memories of Montana.
tbears - you. make. jam? That's awesome. My mum does it but I'm too much of a *** to try. Chris was all about preserving stuff this year, but we never got our garden planted in time. lame.
mushE - what an excellent excuse to get a maid! I'm going to see if I can get Chris to fall for it.
deb - I glad that dude in on his way. It sounded like he was a huge source of annoyance for you.
loe - yay for gazebo. Any word on the texting ticket?

I want to make jam.
I want to attend Rockin the Windfarm.
I want to be able to live a lovely all expenses paid life without having to work for the man.
No, haven't called yet - actually did a load of laundry and cleaned the bathrooms instead of calling, lol. It might have to wait until Tuesday as they are closed the 2nd and 4th Monday each month.
