LOL!!! I just realized how spoiled my post sounded, LOL!!
So I am writing the following disclaimer to make me sound not as bad: 5 of us usually take these trips, renting a 3 bedroom 3 bath apartment with a balcony looking at the beach would be around 250-300 per night. A suite to accommodate all of us OR even two hotels rooms would cost more. True a hotel will include a full Breakfast but it will force us to eat out the entire time we are there. I would rather go to the Fresh Fish Market, cook at the apartment and eat on the balcony looking at Copacabana. It will save us money and just be more relaxing.
At least they care?? That's all I have got.

I hate how awful I feel, I want to go home and I know it seems like I'm being a martyr, but the reason I'm still here waiting on one of our outside departments to help me is so I can help a coworker. I am the keymaster for some things in our department & this thing just happens to be one of those overly complicated systems that really is only needed 2-3x per year so I'm nominated as the point person. While she should have done this stuff 2 weeks ago, she asked me about it yesterday (when I was out sick) and now I am TRYING to get this one thing done so I can go home. I don't want my coworker to get in trouble so I'm trying to stick this out but its tough. I've sent 2 emails and called the other dept. but no avail. I emailed myself the system access so MAYBE I can do this from home, but I really don't know.
argh.

I know! I couldn't figure out why she left me a VM, email AND note on my desk yesterday until HER manager fowareded me an email about it today. THEN it all made sense. And I'm out. No energy left to give.

My past trip to Spain the last week we rented an apartment. If I am ever traveling with long enough to rent an apartment/condo I will. It was so awesome to have a fridge, wash machine and and cook our own breakfasts. I would try and convince him it's the way to go.
Haley, I can't defriend you on fb. I love seeing the things you make. It makes me want to run out and make jewelry.
I am working by myself this week and closed my office for lunch so I could change and do my work out video. I feel guilty but healthy all at the same time.
I've been so good on drinking water the last several weeks, and getting in around 90 ounces a day, minimum. But this week all my mouth wants is Diet Coke. This means:
1. early PMS symptom
2. lots of fake sweeteners means worse cramps.
I *love* it when my body shoots itself in the foot!
I know
we take an overseas trip at least once a year. My IL's are extremely well traveled. Honestly this is pure concern of safety so I believe there is no changing his mind.
