AW: Promotion
I've been talking with my boss since the beginning of the year about my job progression, and we talked about making me a 'team lead' by the summer. My boss has taken on numerous other department, so when the topic of this came up again, I was asked to write my proposed job description and submit it.
"Team Lead" didn't really cut it for me. I want to be a manager, so I wrote my description and submitted it. Weeks went by where I didn't hear anything. I was thinking 'oh sh!t, did I overstep my boundary."
But then I heard from my boss that things were looking good and to just hold tight.
The good news is... I got it. Starting July 1st, I will be the "Training Manager." My team is super great and I'm looking forward to my new role!, the challenges ahead, and ahem! making more money.
