Babysit an infant and then see if you still want one!  That's what kept my maternal urge away for a while.

B is potty training right now, when I drop her off at your house, I'll bring her potty seat too!

And you realize you have to wipe their poopy butts until they are about 5 years old, right??

After wiping old lady butts, I will wipe baby butts any day.

Oh yes, I remember having to wash my little brother's butt after pooping and wiping him. ::shudder::

I guess picking up my dog's nasty poop isn't any better, especially when I have to pull long strands of dog toy materials along with it.

I'll continue to suppress these maternal urges and live vicariously through you all.

Judi, you're welcome to come practice any time. I tell you though between the toddler and the newborn, the toddler is way more work. She is potty trained but right now she lives in the land of "no", lol. She loves to not listen to me and do exactly what I tell her not to do.

No, two rambunctious boys are what you need to cure your baby rabies You can have mine, they'll drive you nutz in about 10 seconds. Actually I lie, you'll fall in love with them, they're angels for other people. Come over and chat with me for 20 minutes while I'm home alone with them. Thats what'll change your mind.
