Silly Question...

So I'm babysitting my boss's 4 month old (she's ADORABLE!) :-)

I was thinking of taking her to do groceries with me. She'll be in the car seat...now here's the silly question...I'm not sure if the car seat will fit in that little area where the kids are supposed to sit????

What am I supposed to do?

It should fit.  You just have to play with it a little bit to get it to sit just right.

Not a silly question at all.  The first time I went to the grocery store with the carrier, I had myself convinced that it would not fit and just put the carrier in the buggy part!  Another time I fought with it and just brought the stroller in!  LOL!

A lot of moms do it, but it really isn't safe to put the car seat in the top part of the shopping cart.  If you don't have her stroller to put it in, you should put it down in the big part of the cart.  I don't know if anything has ever happened to a baby by putting that in the top part, but I never did that with Rylie and I certainly wouldn't chance it with someone else's child.  Just my opinion.

I never put the car seat in the top part because they don't fit onto it like they do in the stroller. I was always afraid of it falling. (not that I ever heard of it happening) ISo I would put it in the big part of the cart and put the groceries around it. I was so afraid of something happening to him.I prefer to be safe than sorry.  I would def not do it with a child belonging to my boss.
