Re: Munchkin Monday
Amelia is a hoot! She is talking like crazy. We got her first naughty note sent home from daycare. When she gets in trouble and you are talking to her, she rolls her eyes, closes them and turns her head. A lot of times, she "plays dead" and lays on the ground all limps and closes her eyes, like she is "sleeping". It drives me crazy that she does that, but it is also hard not to laugh.
Here is a picture of her painting last week at our house. We let the girls paint themselves. It probably wasn't a good thing to teach her, but she sat still for an hour.
Allison is getting so big. She turns four at the end of July. When I left this weekend, I told her that she needed to help her daddy and she told me that she was in charge. She is doing ok at school. Once she is there she likes it, but has a hard time in the morning. Last night she was crying because she wanted to stay home with me today.
Can I play?
He Without a Name is doing great. We are in the Dr office or the hospital 3x a week, and every time he passes all his tests with flying colors. I cannot believe I am 38 weeks! He could be here anytime. Whoa.
I cannot believe that I cold love someone so much who I haven't even met (outside my body) yet. Here is a pic from last weeks biophysical profile. The silly guy kept kicking himself in the head. Then right after they caught this picture, he started licking then sucking on his umbilical cord.
Tennyson, like Amelia, is talking like crazy. He learns new words all the time. His favorite 'saying' right now is "Go bye bye." He says it regularly from the time he wakes up till the time he goes to bed. It's really cute.
He is such a joy, I'm so blessed to have him.
gvsubride - Amelia sounds like a character...love it! And love that you let your girls paint themselves!
All of the munchkins are so cute!
Mira...I had Noah at 38 weeks 2 days....get ready!
I had been having contractions for 10 weeks though, so I kept saying..."they are false". After 5 hours of contractions 3-5 min apart my DH made me call the doctor! LOL
Noah is so fun right now....he is learning something new almost everyday. He gets so proud of himself when he does something new and looks at you like "LOOK what I did!!!!" It is very cute!
I love hearing about everyone's kids!!
Here is my little guy. He wanted to dip his chips in salsa just like us. It cracked me up. He didn't want to share with us, thankfully there were 2 other bowls.
Henry likes to bust a move at will. Take a look (there's sound, careful if you're at work): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXtoPLxNsVU
I'm having a very difficult time remembering his age; he's got conversation skills of a much older kid. It's hard for me to remember why he's acting like a 2 year old sometimes (oh, because he is).
Willa is able to read all of her color words. This reading thing is so super-duper awesome to me! She's also drawing pictures that really look like what she says they are. She wanted to make a packing list, but I didn't want to spell out 15 items. Instead, she drew (really funny) photos.
I love all of your updates. I know it's cliche, but I can't believe how quickly our babies are growing!
And MIra, I may or may not have posted this intentionally to get an update from you. 38 weeks! Wow! If you're ready to be done, know that Henry came in week 38. If you need more time, then never mind.
I love hearing all the stories and seeing the pictures
Ben is growing so fast - he insists on wearing only undies now and screams when we try putting a diaper on him. However he is regressed into peeing his pants sometimes 3 times a day, so we have talked him into wearing pull ups part time and he will as long as they have Disney Cars characters on them
He is absolutely obsessed with the Cars movie and Thomas stuff, he is ALL boy!
And this is his new smile, such a ham!
Tennyson just started doing this as well. As in this past weekend. He throws a fit if he sees us dipping our food into something. Funny stuff.
Ben is a dipper as well - he'll eat just about anything dipped in ranch. Veggies, fruit, meats...so gross but at least t gets him to eat!
Caleb is three. We survived his party. He is a HOOT.
The day after his bday, he said, "I'm big now, so I can drive the car." When I coughed after getting some oatmeal stuck in my windpipe
he told me, "You should go see your doctor. I will drive you there. It is far away."
My mom got him some goggles to wear in the tub.
There is another pic on my phone that I cannot.stop.laughing at.
He's been in his "big boy bed" without a pacifier (huge deal for him, let me tell ya... but it was his idea Friday night!) since Friday, and aside from some iffy naps this weekend, he is doing great. I'm so proud of how he's grown and changed in the past three years.

Awe! I love all these stories and pictures, they get me so excited!
While reading these I kept finding myself thinking "I can't wait till...."
GVSU: Mia's "spirit" kills me! I love how the girls are so close in age yet so different in personality.
GRSP: Henry's dancing cracked me up!
Yesterday DH & SS were stripping out my car for parts and this is what SS looked like on break..
I am a little late jumping into this topic, considering it is almost midnight, LOL.
My daughter is three, and has been in Karate class for three weeks now. She got her first uniform today, and was very excited. She has been so eager to go to class. We have the ability to go four times a week, if we wish (normally we go T and Th), and she has been asking about going everyday. So, if she is good on Monday and Wednesday, I let her go for extra class time. She has already told me that she is looking forward to being able to EARN her purple with white stripe belt. Both her instructor and I have seen dramatic changes in her in this short period of time (at class, anyway, someday at home???) LOL.
I have includec a siggy pic of her, that is clickable. I don't know how to embed the pictures, so that is the best I can do.
