We got some bad news yesterday about Rick's job (I knew it was coming, its par for the course with the company he works for). In a nutshell they are demoting him for no apparent reason other than to give his job to the new spa director...They are cutting his pay drasticlly and while he would basically be doing the same job that he is doing now they are taking away far to much money. After much talking we decided that it was best that he just give his 2 weeks and call it good. They have walked all over him for long enough and he hasn't been happy for a while.
Please keep us in your thoughts, its going to be a rough go of it till he finds a job...I'm totally wishing I was able to make it to Jess's couponing class now...I am going to need every ounce of help i can get. I feel like I'm going to vomit just thinking about it all and how much my life is about to change...I know its a good thing and I know that no one will let us go hungry and no one will let us loose the house but it still scares me sh!tless...

I am so sorry that you are facing this, but I definitely support your decision 100%. Fortunately it is the high season here and more people are hiring now that tourism season is here than there would be in the middle of the winter.
What line of work is he looking for? I can keep my eyes and ears open.

Yes that would be the company...I knew it was coming, I called it months ago but was hoping I would be wrong. I've been crying for hours over this whole mess and hope that it works itself out sooner rather than later.
