Do you ever wake a sleeping baby?
E, my charge, has been sleeping basically since I got here at 8:30, which is really not normal for him. He keeps waking up in the pack and play and the minute I pick him up he's asleep in my arms. He usually only takes naps that are 45 mins to an hour or else I wouldn't even ask. He's 9 months old. feel free to answer if you don't have any kids, I don't have any either! His mom isn't here or else I would ask her.
Re: Do you ever wake a sleeping baby?
I never woke James up from sleeping when he was 9 months old.
ETA: But I also knew his activity levels, how much he had slept the night/day before, etc.
Can you call his mother? That's what I would do.
ETA: I'd ask if from a "What's your parenting style" standpoint as opposed to a "I don't know what I'm doing" standpoint. Just a casual, "Oh, E has been sleeping a lot this morning.. blah blah.. Would you prefer that I let him sleep or wake him up?"
