I saw this last night and was so amped because I heard it was hilarious.  Yeah, it was funny, but huge let down.  Had some slow parts and just wasn't what I was expecting.  Anyone else feel that way?

Bummer. I heard the same things about how great it was.  Maybe I'll wait for the DVD.

I was expecting hilarity and I thought it held up.  I was crying I was laughing so hard.  I personally loved it! 

But I agree, when I build a movie up, it's usually bound to fail.  I'm avoiding Hangover 2 for this reason alone.

 i liked bridesmaids better than hangover 2. i thought bridesmaids was pretty good but hangover  2 was too much like the first one.

I *LOVED* it.  I think maybe you just dont have that kind of humor?  The scene where they are all schitting thier pants and puking had me DYING.

Oh no, I laughed at that a ton, BUT, I think it was too hyped in my mind that I expected 2 hours of laugh fest.

I think it was a little different than I expected but I loved it.  My best friend and I saw it and were dying laughing and also cried at some parts--I thought it was a good balance of funny and sweet.  I love Kristin Wiig though so that plays a big part in me liking it too.
