I started from scratch, built 3 - 6' x 3' raised beds.
This box is the "experiment box". Corn and sunflowers in the lower half. The upper hald is all plants my friend started from seed: tomatoes, parsley, cilantro, carnival peppers and habanero peppers.
This box below, will probably self destruct it has so much going on. Zucchini at the top, sunflowers, zinnia's intermixed on the edges, Yellow Squash, Pickling Cucumbers, Cucumbers and eggplant.
And this box is most likely overplanted, i got a little wacky! We have 2 diff kinds of string beans, sunflowers, basil (needs to be moved), culatnro (not to be confused with cilantro), Aruba Peppers, Bell Peppers, Plum tomotoes, Grape Tomatoes and 4 other varieties...
I wish I had built more boxes... I've got a few other things growing in other areas of our property that I would have preferred be in the boxes, but I ran out of room. Next year I plan to add 3 more boxes and by then we'll probaby have to construct something to keep our deer and bear and rabbits.
And I got a little overzealous with the planting, so hopefully it doesn't all go to pot.
Re: PIP's My Garden!
We only built two boxes and have some major over crowding. I didn't know our honeydew would run the whole veggie box
I love all the cages you have. We didn't put anything up for our cucumbers. We have learned for next year!
