I remember awhile ago you said that your Keurig stop working because you never did "something" to it that was important for it to continue working properly.

Well I've misplaced my keurig manuel and now it doesn't seem to be working right so I was wondering if it bc ive never done that special "something" to it.

please please what is that "something" I don't want to have to replace the keurig.

THANKS!!!!

  • "De-Scaling"

    De-scaling the brewer
The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar. To learn how to de-scale your brewer:

Basically, you filter white vinegar through your machine and let it sit for a few hours, and this will help clean up the insides.  I didn't know about this with my first one, and it destroyed my machine.  Now I am religious about doing it every six months, whether I need to or not.

  • Thank You!!!

I went to make coffee for some guests we had on Sunday and it barely trickled out of the machine. I will def do this now and hopefully it will fix my problem.

  • It should help, for sure!  If not, definitely call Keurig's Customer Service line... they're amazing, and will help you out and may even send you replacement parts and/or a new machine if they can't fix it, you're under warranty, etc.  Good luck!
