Hey girls! I need some advice when it comes to making jello shots.
Do you have a tried and true recipe?
What flavors are best?
Re: Jello Shots
My basic jello shot recipe is:
Some of the flavor combos requested by my friends for parties are:
I place clear 2 ounce portion cups onto a foil-covered baking sheet and lightly spray Pam above them (don't spray into each cup or it becomes a greasy mess). Fill each cup about 3/4 full and place in the fridge until firm. I also buy the lids for the cups so I can stack them in the fridge and for easier transporting.
There's a book called "Jiggelo" that's become my bible for unique jello shot recipes.
Good luck and enjoy!
---Fondue (a.k.a. The Martha Stewart of Jello Shots)
My Recipe:- To every small box of Jello, 1 cup of hot water and 1 cup of alcohol. For the best results... I usually chill all my alcohol.
Lime jello + 1 cup Tequila + 1 cup water = Margarita shot
Strawberry jello + 1 cup Rum + 1 cup water = Daiquiri shot
Pineapple jello + 1 cup Coconut rum (Malibu) + 1 cup water = Pina-colada shot
Wildberry jello + 1 cup Vanilla Vodka + 1 cup of water = Berry Vodka shot
Grape jello + 1 cup of Jagger + 1 cup of water = Jagger Slayer shot (this is actually pretty good)
Black cherry jello + 1 cup of Cherry Whiskey + 1 cup of water = Cherry shot
Cherry jello + 1/2 cup of Godiva dark chocolate + 1/2 of Vodka + 1 cup water = Chocolate covered jello shot. You can also add a macherano cherry to each shot. It has been a huge hit at my parties!
Refrigerate for at least four hours and you should spray a little bit of Pam in the containers before pouring the jello mixture. It helps your guest to take it off easier.
every last one of these sound so so good, and i suddenly have an urge to throw a jello shot party!
