There are quite a few, but it seems like we have all abandoned this board. I was never much of a reg here but I have long since moved on to the Bump and most of the regs that I remember from this board are also on the Bump Alabama board.

Im a new to Alabama girl too
moved to north alabama with my husband for work and so far we love it, we are still getting to know the area so if anyone has any advice on things to go and do or things about the area in general, id love to hear it!
I'm an AL girl, born & raised. I just got married on the 6th, so for now I'm enjoying being a newlywed.
Right now, I'm branching out a little career-wise and have started my own website (you can see it here). I basically do event planning remotely. I can create Flash websites for events, do personal shopping for others' events and even sell favors. You should check it out!
I'm in the Huntsville area. I can help with suggestions for things to do too! This board used to be REALLY busy back when I was a newlywed (a few years back). Like pp said, I think they mostly moved to thebump. I usually hang out on H&F.
There are lots of fun things to do in the fall around Halloween.
