Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

i don't want it to become a debate about whether or not they should have approved/denied her... and don't want the dog owner or organization to get any public flak. thanks for the input, though, both of you.

i didn't see the last post! i agree-- she doesn't leave them outside all day every day, it's completely not like that.
: ( she just had one of her old pups put down because he had cancer pretty bad. the night before she was taking him to be put down, she canceled her commitments and took him to the dog park for the afternoon, came home, fed him a super tasty human food dinner, let him get on the couch, snuggle in bed with her, and then that morning before she took him to be put down, she let him have reese's peanut butter cups. she tried to think of every fun fabulous thing he could possibly want to do before he went to doggie heaven. i love her to death, and know that being denied to adopt that dog she was fostering really broke her heart.
she posted on facebook earlier that they finally agreed to let her adopt him : )
