*Which means, I am requesting that everyone post AT LEAST one question per hour to keep up the momentum...
What word or phrase related to food do you HATE?
Re: Question for the Hour*
"Juicy burger"
I know it's because I don't eat meat, but that phrase gives me the willies.
Now that I think of it, a lot of common carnivorous adjectives do that: "crispy chicken" is another.
My answer from the other post was pungent. Not really sure why. I guess it just seems so unpleasant.
I also hate hearing my in-laws talk about "moist chicken"
Me too! Ha.
"Low Fat"
Tigers, we went to B & R's house (some friends) for dinner last night. Another friend, K, was talking about how he and B wanted fish tacos for dinner and had discussed it a week ago. So random that I rarely hear the phrase "fish tacos" and I've now "heard" it two days in a row.
There aren't too many words that bother me. I hate all words that people use over and over. I have a friend that says "Actually" in almost every sentence. Maybe I hate that word...
Okay, yes, I'm stealing this. Also, "sugar-free".
Creamy.
While I enjoy Giada de Laurentiis' recipes I have a very hard time making it through an entire episode of one of her shows. I swear she says creamy at least once per recipe.
Creme fraiche.
Stupid South Park episode totally ruined it for me.

what episode. And I can imagine what went on with that word on that show. lol!
It was from last season. It was an episode about both Randy's obsession with the Food Network, and his wife's (what's her name?) new friend, the Shake Weight.

NSFW (obviously).
I totally remember that episode. It was really funny.
LOL! I thought that sounded familiar!! I saw bits and pieces of it. Seriously. WHO invented the shake weight. They HAD to know what would happen. I saw it on SNL for the first time and just assumed it was a product they had made up for fun!!!!
