My TTC Update

Well...I'm not pregnant, however...I'm feeling much more hopeful! As you may have read in the TTC post, I stopped my Depo shot in November and haven't had a period since (nor did I have one while on the Depo....so it's been a looong time!). I finally decided to call the Dr and went in today to meet with them. I figured they'd prescribe some meds to start my period and send me on my way. However, they are really being thorough with things...which I think is great. I'm going for bloodwork tomorrow morning and next month they're sending me for an ultrasound to make sure all my lady parts look good and are in working order. In the meantime, he prescribed me progesterone to get my period started up again and hopefully I'll start cycling regularly.

Sorry that was so long....but I'm finally feeling like we can really "start" trying and I'm super excited about it!

That's great news! I'm happy to hear your doctor is taking such a thorough approach to everything. Hopefully the progesterone will be enough to get things rolling. I know how frustrating it can be when things just aren't working right It really starts to feel like a waste of time.

Good! Isn't that a great feeling when you know you are getting somewhere with it! I go to my Dr appt on next Wednesday so I can figure out our next step, since it has been a year of trying!

Thats great to hear that things are getting back on track. I hope all the answers you get allow things to go smoothly from here on out so that you can get a BFP!
