Can you help with apple crisp recipe?
Someone posted quite a while ago a recipe. I want to say it was Heather, but I can't be sure. I know she was involved somehow. Did anyone happen to take down the recipe or save the link? If you know anything please let me know.
Thanks!

This isn't the recipe you are looking for, but is a recipe. Easy and yummy!
Here is Heather's (Bethany's) recipe
Bethany?s Apple Crisp of the Gods
Filling
5 to 6 cortland or granny smith apples, peeled, cored and cut up into chunks
1/2 cup sugar, 2 tsps. lemon juice, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp salt.
Mix ingredients in the baking dish, oval 2 quart Corningware dishes are perfect or you can use an 8 in.
Topping
1 stick unsalted butter, 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup oats
Melt the butter in a saucepan and remove from heat, add sugar, salt, flour and oats and mix until just incorporated. It should look like cookie dough. crumble over filling and bake at 350 for 50-60 mins until bubbly.
Notes: I microwaved the butter because I?m lazy, and I also baked it for 40-45 minutes before removing it because it was bubbly, so check your ovens!

Heather,
I'm attempting your recipe right now - it's in the oven! I couldn't use Nutmeg though because I don't have any... and it was WAY too expensive at the grocery store.... so I opted out on that. I would hardly ever use it enough for it to be worth the cost!
I'll let ya know how it is!
