might be moving, need suggestions
Hi Ladies!
M husband and I might be moving to Tennessee next year. We would like to be somewhere between Nashville and Cookeville (based on where he would be working). So we are beginning our search now and I was hoping to get some advice from all of you ladies.
Here are the first few questions that come to mind: Where should we be looking? Which towns have good school systems (or not so good school systems)? Of course some of it is opinion, and all views are welcome !
If you have any advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I've got to say I'm pretty partial to Cookeville, but I got my undergrad there (Tennessee Tech). Not being a native I'm not sure where Putnam County Schools rank but I don't believe they're at the bottom. As you move closer to Nashville on I-40, population density gets a lot higher and so does cost of living. Cookeville is a nice place between Nashville and Knoxville and it has a variety of places to shop (although it lacks a good indoor mall) and eat while still feeling like a small town. There's a lot of parks, a community theater, library, and other cultural stuff partially brought in by the university. Algood is the town next door and it seems like a really nice place too. Good luck with your move!
