Double sided tape for cats?
I've been hearing about some sort of double-sided tape (not the regular stuff) that you can put on furniture to prevent kitties from clawing it. Does anyone know what it's called or where I can find it?
One of our kitties is clawing our new couch!
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Double sided tape for cats?
A friend recommended this to me, we haven't tried it yet because our kitten hasn't started scratching too much yet, plus we aren't letting him out while we aren't home yet. You'll have to let me know how it works though!

this.
also, our cats ate it.
so.
our poor furniture. we've got a few pieces we protect but the couch and the snuggle chair are goners, upholstery wise.

I tried that once but that sofa was too far gone by then, anyway. I don't think it served as a deterent. Maybe if I'd have covered the whole sofa with it......?
I have noticed that our kitties don't scratch our microfiber couch, FWIW (maybe the fabric isn't comfortable?) and for the other stuff, the good old water spritzer bottles that we have placed strategically around the house and use when we have to seem to be working. The new kitten loves the cardboard scratcher things, whereas the two older ones ignore them and stick to the regular carpetted scratching posts.
