Would anyone be interested in doing a digital book club over here? Nerdy, I know! It might be fun to chat about current reading though.

I tried to join the Chicago boards book club...They emailed the book for June but never emailed me again to invite me to the actual club meeting haha
They do a book every other month. That might work nice for people who are super busy or take their time reading. If you're a quick reader, you could have a break and pick the book up closer to the end of the month.
I will look into book sharing...I'm wondering if we could share on the kindle software somehow. I know you can download it free on the pc or mac. I have it on my macbook and it works nicely.

I've got a kindle and from what I understand of the sharing for that, you can lend out books but you can't read them during that time.

It looks like you can link 6 devices to an amazon account and they can all use the books simultaneously. What you do is you log in from the same amazon account and it'll let you register your kindle. I'm thinking once you have purchased the book, you can just go in and download it from the kindle account? If anyone else with a kindle/kindle software wants to give it a test go? I got Alice in Wonderland (It was a free download) to test with.
I made up an email so we could have an account the email is destinationnesties@gmail.com and the password is nesties
If this works, it could be nice to pool money and buy a book...even if we were to end up needing 2 accounts. I don't mind buying the books but it'd be nicer to pay a couple bucks than 10-12.
P.S. you can get kindle software for pc, mac, ipad, and a bunch of smart phones (why would you read on a smart phone?) if you don't have a kindle reader.

FI and I share an account and I think it would just get confusing if I were logging in and out of accounts on my kindle, so I'll just continue to use mine and buy the books. I don't mind
That's a great idea though!
When I first got my iPhone 4 and it came with iBooks I definitely read Pride and Prejudice (not a very short book) entirely on my iPhone. It was actually not too bad! Ever since I got the kindle though I haven't read on my phone. It just doesn't make sense anymore.
