Happy Friday

Yay for a long weekend!  I am super excited.  I am off today so I am going to get a ton of stuff done.  I have some cleaning, shopping and erranding to do.  I am also going to play around with my new mixer!!!

Re: Happy Friday

  • I am so excited for a long weekend! DH will be home sometime late afternoon today, and then he'll be off til Tuesday! Woohoo! I feel like he has been traveling every single week lately.

We're having a small cook out at our house on Sunday, and I know DH and some of the guys are planning on canoeing and fishing all afternoon.

Other than that, no big plans.

  • I'm excited that it's a long weekend because it seems quite possible this is the last one ever, that it will be just me and H!

Not doing much, small cookout at the parent's on Sunday, but we are going to be skipping the summer nationals since there is no way I can waddle around a car show for 3 days.

I cannot wait to get out of work-- we're driving up to Maine and I'm just going to sleep all weekend. This week has drained me!

I think I'm going to help a neighbor make some cupcakes at some point but that's about it!

  • I took a vacation day today, because it's deadly at work for once.  I had all sorts of grand plans about cleaning today, but I think I'll take a walk to the grocery store in a few, and then collapse on the couch and watch bad tv/read.  The dirt will still be there the rest of the weekend.

We don't have any real plans. I think we're going to try and go to dinner in the North End tomorrow night, and we may try to hit up a movie. Oh, and I want to try MeadHall in Kendall at some point, so we may go on Sunday night.

  • Since it's summer, I have a two month long weekend, but I'm excited for everyone else who gets to enjoy this beautiful day!

SO is working on a major project for work, so I'm stuck entertaining myself. Today I'm walking over to the farmers market to get stuff for the weekend. Making Lobster tart with a farmers market salad for dinner. Also going to stop by a few galleries for open studios tonight. (I have not been to my favorite pottery gallery in a while.)

The rest of the weekend will be about cleaning up around the house and relaxing. I might join community boating so I can start kayaking again.

     Have a great holiday weekend!

  • Everyone enjoy your long weekends!

We'll be relatively busy this weekend. Getting together with a friend tomorrow, grad party Sunday, and bbq Monday. The hardest part is figuring out when I can get to the grocery store this weekend before Monday afternoon and have it not be insanely busy! I think I may go early Sunday morning before we head down to CT. I hate busy grocery stores.

  • Happy Friday everyone!

I'll be spending tonight and tomorrow cleaning my house. I've been slacking bigtime lately. Sunday we're having a cookout in the afternoon, and Monday we're going to a cookout at H's friends. I think its going to be a pretty low-key weekend but I'm excited to have an extra day to sleep in!

  • I'm off today too and am Nesting from my phone, in the car, on the way up to Freeport for some outlet shopping with my family. It's going to be a great weekend.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Happy long weekend!!!

We're going to grab some dinner and drinks with another couple tonight. Then tomorrow we're heading up to the North Shore to visit DH's cousin and see the triplets! So excited to see them...I can hardly believe they're already 2 1/2!

DH wants to go into Boston on Monday morning to hear the Declaration of Independence read....we'll see.

  • DH and I went to the David Gray concert Friday. It was fantastic!

Yesterday was a rough day for DS that ended up in an ER visit last night. It sucked so, so bad. But he'll be fine in another day or so.

So, our plans to go to the pool today have been scratched and we'll be relaxing inside with him and encouraging him to snooze and rest so he can heal (he has a scratched cornea).

This eve we have a party, which the ER doc said we could take him to since we won't be in direct sunlight so we'll play that one by ear.

Tomorrow we CAN go to the pool, but it will all depend on DS's eye. We are BBQ-ing for tomorrow night then watching fireworks!

It was awful yesterday. Today is MUCH better. I think he'll be 100% tomorrow!
