Will my sugar snap peas survive?

We had terrible winds here last night and my sugar snap peas are now bent over.  The stalks creased, but didn't break from what I could tell.  They had grown over and above the trellis that I had for them and that's the portion that bent over.  They were in blossom and forming pods, so I'm hoping they survive.  This is the first time I've grown them, so I'm not sure how sturdy they are.

Will they survive being bent over like that?  Between rabbits chewing them down at the base and the wind, I don't think I'm meant to have peas this year!

  • mine did that when they outgrew the trellis and they were fine, I still got flowers and pea pods.  We pulled them up 2 weeks ago when it got too hot and they stopped producing
