I used my mixer!

I made chocolate mousse and whipped cream!  I am hunting for other recipes now.  I am in love with this mixer.

Re: I used my mixer!

  • I'm drooling...
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Yum!!

You have inspired me to dust off mine and make something yummy too!

  • Mmm, chocolate mousse. Yum!

The one time I used my mixer, I made this Reese's cup chocolate peanut butter cake. The cake was kind of dry, which was totally my fault, but the frosting was effing delicious.

I actually printed that recipe out a couple of weeks ago!  Ha ha ha.  I am going to have to try to make it soon.

  • The frosting is seriously delicious. Seriously.  I need to make another cake soon.

And I swear, at least half of my regular dinner repertoire comes from Annie's Eats.

  • chocolate mousse sounds sooooo good! Yummm.

Is this a KA? I use mine to make pasta all the time. I bought the pasta roller attachments and I love them!

Other than that, I made the chocolate chunk cookies from Flour's cookbook and they are fantastic. (Of course, it is easier to walk a few blocks and buy them already made...) The good part about making them from scratch is that you can prepare the dough ahead of time and bake them off as you want them... warm yummy cookies!

    Happy fourth!

  • You are sending some to all of us, aren't you?!

It is KA!  I will for sure look into pasta attachments.

  • I honestly was not sure how much I would use it, but OMG... homemade pasta is so yummy and the pasta attachment makes it so easy. I have been very happy with it.

My next attachment is going to be the meat grinder.
