Hot Hot Hot

It has been extremely warm today. To the point that I am sluggish because its too stinking hot! Our indoor/outdoor thermometer is positioned in the sun so the reading was likely high but at one point today it said it was 106!!!! I think it was really like 102 but still its stinking hot.

How hot is it where you are and what are you doing to stay cool?

When I saw the temperature it was only 75, but I went to the beach and am now a little lobster.

It was in the mid 80s today.  We're supposed to have thunderstorms roll through anytime now.  I'm sure that it will be humid as hell afterwards.  Dry heat isn't so bad here.  It's the humidity that sucks the life out of you.

High 80s today, mid 90s tomorrow.

I am staying cool by staying inside with my AC jacked up. Avoiding the heat like the plague.

I think its in the 80s for a high here.  The news is going on & on about how hot it is.  Honestly, having spent last summer in the heat and humidity of Virginia...this is wonderful.

I wet a washcloth and move it from my forehead, to the back of my neck, to my bump (gotta keep the baby cool). It is in the high 80'sish but with humidity feels so much hotter.

Only about high 70s/low 80s here but DH has the AC on anyway. I'm in my sweatshirt and socks!

Yeah...today's high was 106. It's been 100+ for days now...I've lost track of how many days. I just don't go outside unless I have to, and I eat lots of ice cream and Italian ice. I can't imagine it getting any worse than what it is, but I'm not sure we'll get any relief anytime soon.
