I hate flipping two the 2nd page of comments..so i'll start a new post for closing arguments.
I heard earlier that one of the jurors is supposed to leave on a cruise on July 7th.. I would be PISSED.

That would definitely suck, but it has only been 6 weeks and they told these jurors the trial would last 6-8 weeks. Most judges will excuse jurors with prepaid travel during the time period of the trial, but even if that didn't happen here, the poor guy definitely should have known to expect it.
If true, it would be interesting to see if that juror ends up being a "defense juror" and votes for lesser charges/acquittal so he can skip the penalty phase and get to his cruise!

I think it's kind of messed up that the juror was chosen when they attorney's knew it would take this long. I mean really, that's kind of mean.

Sara, you will lose about 1.5 of your life if you watch Jose's closing since the lunch break. Prosecution had a good closing, but Jose is just DRAGGGGGGGING.
Ashton laughed @ Baez, and Baez called him on it.. Ashton objects.. judge called a side bar, then they went to recess.

So about this garbage that Baez is spewing about GA not having a paternal instinct... what do you think of it? Do you think Casey buys it? She is crying, is it because she is feeling sad for herself, or feeling bad for what they are doing to GA? I personally think she is a sociopath and has no feelings but it's just really intense. I can't imagine what is going through her head.
In one of the jail videos Casey goes on & on about what a great Dad & Grandpa George was.
I don't know what to make of Baez arguments. I mean, he's right. The State has nothing, which is what we've been saying all along.
I just feel bad for the jury.
That's what I'm thinking of in this. I lost my dad when I was young so I have a hard time hating on GA. I get that he's been uncooperative with the defense, but look at what they are accusing him of, only based on what Casey the psychopath allegedly says.
I don't like Baez, but I think he is doing a pretty good job of presenting what they couldn't find. IE: drugs, DNA, etc, etc...
The prosecution was pretty good.. But you will lose a part of your life you won't get back if you watch all of Baez. He's been going since before lunch

They don't think he killed her, so what do they think he did?

During the 5 minutes I watched live today I saw Baez request that Ashton not be held in contempt, and it made me actually not hate him (Baez) for a quick minute. It was still funny that he started with "I have no other comment other than ..." and he went on for several minutes with his comment. But it was cool of him to take the high road in a way.
Well, Baez wasn't innocent in that whole thing either. He called Ashton out, which I believe was also against JP's rules..
True. I thought they were both going to be in contempt for sure. I have to work today and tomorrow from 9-6. I want to sign up for text msg updates in case the jury comes up with a verdict. I imagine it will take more than 2 days, with all the evidence to go over and all the drama, but with the holiday coming up I wouldn't be that suprised if they are a tad quick.

The text updates I get from the orlando sentinel are few & far btwn and are crap. You can follow @vinniepolitan from HLN. He said he'll be tweeting (or he does tweet) during the day and he'll tweet when the jury is back w/ the verdict.
and is Mason serious going over this evidence again. WTF..these jurors have been in this court room FOREVER.. I'm tempted to just turn it off. I can't stand this guy. He's 1,000x worse than baez.
