I will start this fun thread. I know I'll need some entertainment on the first day back after a long holiday weekend! So Ask Me Anything ladies...

Why am I always so tired even after a great night of sleep and a restful weekend?
-This happens to me all the time! I blame it on the fact that my body is used to going off of little sleep & a busy lifestyle, so when I get rest and good sleep my body is in shock and reacts weirdly.

Why is shellac the greatest thing to ever happen to nails?
-I didnt get the chance to try shellac first hand this weekend, so I'm going off of pure "Brandi-land fact" here. I believe it's the best thing since fried rice because it lasts so much longer than a normal mani & there are fun colors :0)

What's your favorite thing about your job?
-The family I work for is amazing. There are the normal drags that occur in all jobs, but the family is like my second family. I love all of them so much, and feel really blessed to have them in my life.

How did your cake turn out?  I want to see pics.  
-My cake turned out really well! I made two different kinds of icing from scratch, buttercream and strawberry cream cheese (to put in between the two layers). Everyone loved it! I had a bit of a hard time getting the buttercream smooth, so I need to work on that, but overall I was happy.

 How long have you and DH been together total?
-We've been together since December 19, 2008. So this year is our third anniversary. We moved pretty quickly in the grand scheme of relationships, but when it's right it's right :0)

So true! We'll have our third anniversary about a month and a half after we're married. Granted, we were best friends for a long time before we started dating, but I agree entirely, when it's right, it's right!

And now so that I don't break any rules by not asking a question:

How's baby making going?

 

Oh! Btw, I just read the PF Changs Lettuce wrap recipe on your blog. Have you tried it? we LOVE the lettuce wraps and I bet Steve would be thrilled if I made them for dinner.

 Our 3rd anniversary was in May so no judgement here.

*Baby making is coming along. Nothing exciting to report, but it's only been a month :0) I'm not complaining about the practice.

*I have made those lettuce wraps, and theyre fantastic Brea! They taste just like the real thing.

*The zebra things are cupcake tattoos, theyre made by Chef Duff. He has big cake sized ones, but he is sold out of the animal print and that was her birthday theme.

My question is similar to Brea's - Is baby making stressful/robotic now that there's a purpose behind doing it, or is it still just as fun? (Feel free to Not answer this if it's asking TMI)

Baby-making isnt stressful, in all honesty I dont think that much has changed (besides no more birth control, our sex life was pretty active beforehand). I'm not charting, sleeping with my legs up in the air, or anything like that though, and I could see where that would lead to stress. Right now we're just leaving it up to fate.

Good luck and keep us posted on any new developments!!  I really think being stressed about that kind of process can't help anything!

I mean I don't think there is any reason to stress when you first start trying.  I know this is easier said then done but I just don't understand the girls that start charting right away.  See what happens first, then if in x amount of time you still aren't KU then do that.  Just have fun with it.

So exciting!! We have to put off having kids for awhile but to me the whole process is still super exciting

Marisa- I think I would rather have a boy. I've always babysat little boys, so I feel pretty comfortable in my abilities to play with them and understand them fairly well. Plus I enjoy being DH's princess and want to stay that way forever lol. Honestly though, as long as our baby is happy and healthy that's all that matters to us. But stephen swears our first baby is going to be a girl :0)Sarah- DH isn't a kabillionaire because A) we weren't that lucky and you love him just the way he is and he would probably have a totally different personality with all that money. However, I TOTALLY feel your pain!

I'm late for questions but my question is: Why is it that ever since we got back everyone has asked me/us "How does it feel being married?" People I've been married less than 2 weeks and been with DH for over 6 years... I don't freakin know! give me more time, geezzz! lol

I hate that question Pam, it's annoying lol. Married life isn't much different, unless you were like a virgin ;0) My cake recipe isn't on the blog, but I'll put it up there this week just for you!

I feel the same way... um we've lived together for 3 years, the only thing that really changed was my name and insurance for now lol.
