What are your reliable recipe sources?
The peach cake that I had such high hopes for below was a Cooks Illustrated recipe. I've been so disappointed with them lately. I've only made one recipe in the last few years that I thought was worth it, which just surprises me because of the testing CI does for its recipes.
So my reliable sources:
Anything from Paula Deen
Anything in Bon Appetit, Yall
5 star recipes on myrecipes.com
What are yours?
Re: What are your reliable recipe sources?
My reliable sources are Real Simple and Better Homes and Gardens. I have had good luck with the Boston Globe, epicurious.com (I think they are affiliated with Bon Appetit) and Smitten Kitchen (a blog I just found).
Agree on 5 star myrecipes.
The Cincinnati Jr. League put out a cookbook "I'll Cook When pigs Fly."

Ina Garten
Ina Garten and Bon Appetit BEFORE. I hate their new redesign and have found so few recipes that entice me in the last few months.
I have found maybe one thing in dozens of recipes I've tried of Ina's that I didn't like. There are also a few reliable bloggers on WC that I'll go to. I also like Southern Living and Better Homes and Gardens for classic recipes.

I am a kraftfoods.com fanatic, everything from every day dinners to appetizers/desserts for entertaining. I usually make dinners from the healthy living section.
Also, Better Homes & Gardens and Sandra Lee SemiHomemade.
