Honestly, I am completely shocked that Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murder... It actually gave me chills when they read it. It makes me feel nauseous.

I have no doubt that she AT LEAST was horribly negligent (if not actually a murderer), but there was really not enough evidence. it still makes me sick.

In my opinion your child being missing for 30 days before it is reported is evidence enough that you did something wrong.  And since the defense's whole stance was that she drowned and casey (and apparently her dad) tried to cover it up, shouldn't there be some charge for abusing a corpse?!?!

I seriously disagree with the OJ comparison and blaming the jury.

That trial was Pre-If-I-did-it book release. Doesn't anyone remember how the LADA and LAPD ROYALLY effed up that case? Sorry but if a rich black man is suspected or murder it's best to leave the racist out of the investigation. Cops KNOW each other, you know who's a racist, who hates women, who will beat up child beaters on the spot, let's leave those folks at home and not risk the case shall we? Additionally, Cochran had a long history of battling the LA DA's office, not to mention the LAPD's stellar reputation( Rodney King anyone?) this was all a recipe for disaster. They should have seriously had their ducks in a row because honestly "reasonable doubt" is a Mofo. I have been assigned( as a juror) to a Murder trial its serious. 

Regarding Anthony, I am learning more about it but it seems as if they made crucial mistakes that lost them the case.

  ETA: I hope that didn't make me sound like I support Casey Anthony because honestly I hope a crowd finds her on her way home. That poor little girl.
