If you've taken prometrium please come in...

I know this will get more responses on the TTC boards but I need some help.

I'm on day 4 of prometrium. The first two days I felt fine...these last two days I've had weird dizzy/out of it spells. For example: took my prometrium around 10 and went out with G. I got home around 12:30 and was feeling really dizzy. I put her down for a nap and ended up falling asleep on the couch (even though I'm not tired). At 1:00 I woke up really startled and went looking for G...only to realize she was napping. WTH! Is this normal side effec? Or could it be something else?

The only thing that has changed was that I started taking prometrium. I thought maybe that was the reasons for the spells.  I'm eating normaly too-it's not like it happens when I'm hungry or anything.

  • Ugh prometrium is seriously like evil in pill form in my book.  I never had the dizziness but I had several of the other side effects.  I don't know if you have to take it on a schedule but could you take it before bed and then sleep through some of the more severe effects of it?  That was always what I did and it seemed to help.

  • I swear any form of progesterone is the most evil thing. Yes, that's pretty normal. It's caused by the hormone building up on your body. fun times.
