Quick question for those who have pumped at work- did you clean your parts with hot soapy water each time, rinse only, etc? So far today I have used a medela steam bag after I pumped the first time and have the parts air-drying in my office...not sure if I should do this each time or if there is something easier

Ditto KMS. I just threw my parts in the fridge with my milk. Breastmilk stays good room temperature for several hours as well, so I sometimes just wiped the parts and used them again without even rinsing.
Doing the whole wash routine every time was SO time-consuming.
I do have access to a fridge and hadn't even thought of doing this...dumb question but basically this is okay to do with milk left in parts because you are keeping it cold??
I wipe mine down with a papertowel, then stick them in the fridge with the milk. I bring one set for each pumping session (I did pump 3x/day, then 2x/day, now I'm down to 1x/day - each time, I brought the number of parts I needed - I never reused). Then when I get home, the used parts go in a tub with hot soapy water to soak. Then I rinse and use the medela steam bag in the microwave.
Sometimes DH gets the hint and helps with the rinse and steam bag part. Not as much as he used to though. Seems he was more helpful when I pumped more often.
