Do you have any recipes for them/how to you cook them?
They were on sale this week and DH/I have talked about making them before so I bought some, but am still torn on how to prep...marinade and grill, bread/etc and bake?

haha, it's so funny that so far no one eats them; here DH and I thought we were the oddballs since we've never made them!
I love buffalo wings so I figure this is just a "bigger" version. Lol.

I'll but some bbq sauce on them and bake them (if I had a grill, I'd rather grill them).
DH will also use butter and flour, bake them, and then pour franks red hot sauce on them. Not the healthiest choice, but still yummy.
Is there a lot of meat on them? I always figured they were super skinny or something with no meat. I don't know why I thought that though.

are they the full legs or just drumsticks/just thighs? I would make a vinegar and butter marinade and brush on them to grill (sounds weird but tastes great) there may be other stuff in that I'm going from memory how my grandma made them when I was young. You could also bread them...If it is thighs I would debone and use like you would a boneless breast in recipes.

Wait. There are people who have actually never had a chicken leg??? I had no idea!
We usually grill them with BBQ sauce. Or fry them, but that's probably not the type of recipe you're looking for. lol
But just for fun, to clog your arteries through the interwebz:

Xan, I'm the same way. Something about it just repulses me!

Awww, I thought this would be a post about crazy skinny legs. My hubby has chicken legs something fierce.
As far as the drumsticks go, I usually just shake-n-bake them. Turns out fine. I could give you other recipes but they are incredibly bad for you, so I'll just keep to myself.
Haha, I actually wondered if anything would think this. My gma has chkn legs, but I'm far from having them.
Update: we marinaded and grilled last night; not our cup of tea. DH was freaked out by the bones and while we both love wings; these were just too big for us. Along with the corn on the cob, our meal was pretty much no utensils and felt really barbaric! lol

Me three, No chicken on the bone for this girl, also no ribs or anything else that requires me to use my fingers or eat something off a bone.
