My parents are looking for a painter to paint some trim on the outside of their house. They live in Montgomery county, so I also posted this on the DC board, but thought if anyone knew of a a good, reliable painter, I could call and see if they would come out to Moco.

Did you get more than one quote before you went with them? How did their price stack up? I need some painting too and have been putting it off because I hate having to schedule a bunch of quotes.
We found them on Angie's List and contacted them - as well as a handful of others - for quotes. These two both had a ton of rave reviews. With painting it's pretty straightforward so based on the size of the room and whether crown moulding is getting painted too it's not too tough to get an idea of cost by phone. These guys both compared very well against others on price.
On both jobs we used him for Carlos Mosquera was literally at the house to take a look at the space within a day of getting our call - and was then back to do the work within 2 days. So responsiveness didn't hurt. He quoted by the job, while S&J quoted by the day - with discounts for multiple days - so that's a factor, too.
