We tried peanut butter today. She loved it and was licking her fingers. Within five minutes she had hives all around her mouth, red blotchiness on her face and neck and hives on her hands

Going to draw labs on Tuesday when she has her 15 month appointment. Not happy. Glad it wasn't worse, but they say next time it could be. So, lab tests and then probably an allergist. We luckily avoided the lactose allergy and now this. I love peanut butter, I eat it off a spoon daily so I'm really hoping this goes away .Poor babe. She was loving it, giggling as she ate it etc.
Re: Hives :(
Yeah, I was too, but DH talked me out of it and then when the hives started popping up and I saw little bee stings all over her face I was like, " you gotta be kidding me!?!?!"
Interesting article if you want to read about some of the latest allergy info:

I've also heard this is happening! I'll be hoping for the best for you guys. Peanuts and peanut butter are a staple in our house - I can't imagine having to avoid them.
