Just wanted to say hello, just found this board its very rare to find a baton rouge board. I am fairly new to the area, my family and I  are currently living out in denham springs we've been here for a year now. I have a 3 year old son who will drive me nuts if we're cooped up in the house too long. So just trying to find some new things out there that we maybe haven't discovered yet and possibly meet some new people!

Hey,we love denham so far, I just feel like I am going to Baton Rouge at least once a weekend. We live on the denham/walker border (exit 15) is there anything interesting that you know of in Denham??

the water park area at North Park recently opened.  there's also a new playground off of Old River Rd. at the end of the street that the Fire Department is on.

yea we've been to the new park.. havent been to the aqua pards yet dunno how crowded it gets there

We pass the Aqua Pards every Sunday on our way to see family, and it stays pretty busy.  Still got the "newness".

Welcome! I am from DS, but live in Walker. I don't have kids, so not sure of too many things to do with a 3 year old, besides the water park. I do know if your driver's license says Denham, it is only like $5 to get in, $8 otherwise. Hope you like living here!

hi, thanks for the info. We are on the Denham /Walker border. I don't have a louisiana license but I drove by the water park this weekend and even with that bad overcast it was still packed. Might try to go sometime before the seasons over, we'll see.
