Hello Fabulous Ladies`
It's FRIDAY, yay! Although the weather today sucks I am beyond excited that the weekend has arrived, and I only have to work one day next week. Hooray :0) (insert my happy dance)
Tonight the hubs and I are going out on a fancy schmancy date night, and he works tomorrow so I plan on napping all day! Sunday we have another family cookout, so hopefully the weather is nice.
Anyone have any exciting weekend plans?

Yay! I am SO glad it's Friday. It was a pretty stressful week for a short week!
Tonight I'm going to accompany FI while he runs some errands (or as he calls it, going on a field trip) in exchange for him taking me out to dinner
Saturday is my bridal shower (CRAZY!)
And Sunday we'll be looking at more houses. There's one in particular that we really love and if it looks as awesome in person as in pictures we'll likely be putting an offer in next week. It's less than a mile from where we currently are. We love the area and we'll be able to keep our gym!
It's also zoned for all great schools, which is a total plus since we're trying to buy our "forever" house.
Oh, and Sunday marks 3 months until the wedding! Today is 3 months from Hawaii!

Morning ladies! I slept like complete crap last night. I was awake every hour. Around 1 I finally took something but I still didn't go to sleep. I woke up feeling like crap. I'm pretty sure delirium is going to set in soon so if my posts don't make any sense just ignore me.
Brandi have fun on your date night. That sounds fun.
Brea, YAY 3 months till Hawaii!
Oh we are going to Cirque du Soleil tomorrow night. YAY! I am excited about that.

Wow Brea, where has the time gone?! Kelly- that sucks you couldn't sleep, I have only had that happen a few times and it sucks, you can try taking valerian root.
I'm dragging @ss this morning, I think I've got some pms. I don't even care what I look like today, i'm leaving my hair wet and sticking it in a side braid. I don't have the energy to blow dry and straighten it. Tomorrow I'm babysitting my 8 yr old nephew and hope to knock out some WR stuff and sunday i'm trying to get FI to go to Mt. Rainier for a little day hiking.
I know! Crazy, right? You were there when I first joined the Hawaii board so you've known me since I was 9-10 months out!
And I definitely did the exact same thing this morning. Typically with a new hair cut I'll style it nicely for a few weeks before slumping back into this kind of thing, but here I am, Day 5, with frizzy braid hair.

This morning I went to the DMV and got my license all taken care of!!! It really didn't take all that long once I was actually in the door, I was not expecting the 45 min wait outside.
I am really looking forward to this weekend. Tonight I am going to the gym after work and then dinner possibly with a friend. Tomorrow my mom and I are going to lunch and then the Kennedy Center in DC to see Wicked. Sunday DH and I are going on a kayak tour and then to the vineyard that makes our favorite wine. (Stocking up)...Other than that I am going to try and finish up my book.
You ladies sound like you have such fun things planned.

Heather, I do the side braid all the time. Today I was too lazy for that and when my hair frizzed out I put it in a dodo ball on my head.

I have rocked braids two days in a row so far. Haha. We're all so much more alike than we thought!
I'm so exhausted...again I went to sleep after 1. Also, if you all remember I got a ticket before the wedding. I went to court today and oh, they knocked it down from 500 to 139. So gracious of them. Damn that little tag that I lost! SO upset! Apparently I need to write a couple thank you notes of thanks for paying for a portion of my ticket.
I'm sleeping in this weekend like no other, cleaning house up, putting presents away, maybe putting stuff in my empty drawers and not living so crappy in different rooms. DH has unpacked completely from HI and I haven't even started! I have no idea when he did this, haha!

my memory sorta sucks. Too funny we all braid our hair. I left my phone at home today so im having TN & TK withdrawals a bit! Sarah - thats awesome you got it reduced so much!! I was speeding to work today and thought about you cuz I was like sh!t I don't wanna get a ticket! There was a bunch of cops out - a bad mom took off with her 2 kids and everyones on the look out.

I am laughing my azz off at this thread, because I totally rocked the damp side braid all 4th of July weekend! Hahaha! I was waiting all day to say that.
OK, so TN is kind of annoying in how you can't see the rest of the posts except the last one when you hit reply....
Carrying on, I hope you ladies all have a fun weekend. We aren't doing much. DH is going to Penn DOT in the morning to try and get his new last name license. I hope it goes as smoothly as the SS office went! I have hopes of hitting up some tag sales tomorrow to find a fold-up table for camping and maybe some other misc camping stuff.
It's a dreary day here and DH seems to be in a funk. And I had a rather stressful day at work so I'm thinking of running to the wine and spirits shop before it closes. Seems like it will be one of those chill in the house type nights.
