So remember how the winner was a guy from Detroit. I ran across this article on the Entertainment board that was quite interesting. I feel so bad for the guy!

Wow! That really sucks! I cannot understand why they would tape three endings to the show and only announce the winner 2 weeks before they open the restaurant. Clearly he had no say in how the restaurants were going to be run, or what was going to be on the menu. I also think they should have reconsidered where the restaurants were going to be opened. I think he would have done pretty well in Detroit, but not necessarily in the Mall of America...
It all just seems like such a huge waste of money. I can completely understand why they are not going to be doing a second season of the show...
