Happy Friday! I know it's been a short week for most, but I'm very glad it's Friday. This week sort of flew by.
Last night after we had dinner we went over to my girlfriends house to celebrate her bf's birthday (you may remember her, she's the one who owned a house w/ he bf, then he broke up with her, she awkwardly lived there for a while, they sort of got back together, she moved away for several months and now she's back and they're stronger than ever) and that was really fun. One of their couple friends also plays on our baseball team, and they were there too, which was great, along with a few other people.
Tonight, well, who knows what's going on tonight. Maybe board games and a few drinks with some tasty food on the BBQ. That sounds like a great Friday to me. I think that this weekend will mostly be tiling, but I hope to spend some time outside tomorrow because it's supposed to be gorgeous out.
What does everyone have lined up for the weekend?
Re: Friday Friday, gotta get down on Friday (damn you Mandee)
"One more day! ONE... DAY... MORRRRRRE!"
That's right, it's my last day at work before my mat leave - i.e. the Ultimate Friday! Holy crap, I can't believe it's already here. I've been looking forward to it for months but now that I'm faced with the idea of not getting up and trucking myself to the office every day, I have to admit I'm feeling a little... weird.
Well, hopefully the little one will arrive soon enough to fill up my time. I've been feeling pretty positive and not too impatient up until now, but yesterday I found out that a friend of mine who was due after me already had her baby. NOW I'm jealous.
Happy Friday everyone!Baby #2: Surprise BFP 9.19.12, EDD 5.24.13, natural m/c 10.19.13 at 9w
Last night was crazy busy trying to get everything ready for this weekend, plus my sister and her boyfriend arrived from Michigan around 10:30pm so I had to multitask and entertain them. Didn't get to bed until about 1:30.
I'm leaving work EARLY (yay!) today and heading out to the Berkshires with my family for a Boston Symphony Orchestra concert at Tanglewood. I have the BEST picnic packed, and H got bottles of my favorite wine. But it is pouring now, and I reeeaaalllly really hope it dries up by tonight b/c we have lawn seats. The rest of the weekend will be spent at the B&B and exploring the area.
Morning ladies!
ringy--Les Mis reference? LOVE! And congrats on making it to the last day!
Last night's dinner with my friend from high school and his wife went well...though we went to a restaurant with mostly food that Ed doesn't eat, so that was rough for him--oh well, he is too damn picky
I am leaving in a few minutes to go for a short run then go hang out on the beach for a couple of hours and get some work done. It isn't that nice out (boo...) but our cleaning people are coming and I don't like to be around when they're here, so I am taking my book for my class and getting work done elsewhere...
Other than that, I am heading up to see my best friend tomorrow, which should be fine--I talked her out of cleaning the barn, so it will be a little more relaxing. We may go to the beach, I'm going to try to buy a new pair of running shoes, and that's about it.

Good morning! I'm here today, which is nice. I only have classes Mon-Thurs. I'm SO sore! The choreography we did for the stage fighting had a lot of falls so it was a total workout.
SO much fun though. Holy crap.
I'm taking my bridesmaid dress in today for alterations. The bust needs to be taken in a good inch, as does... well... nothing else really. The joys of being pear shaped, huh?
Other than that, I have a baby shower this weekend and we're planning on getting some of the shopping for Hawaii done.

Have I told, you lately, that I loooooove you.... Have I told you, there's no one else, above you.....
Our hangover activity last weekend was laying dead on the couch/floor watching the 25th anniversary concert. My observations: 1) No one will ever be better than Colm Wilkinson, ever. 2) Joe Jonas has a nice voice, but not a strong enough stage presence to pull off Marius. 3) I prefer Lea Solonga as Eponine over Fantine. She was a touch too much (though we did have her as Fantine when we saw the show on broadway). 4) I might have started crying a little when Colm showed up for the encore stuff.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I'm here at work, and thankful it is Friday. Even though it has been an extra short week, it has been crazy busy for me. Big surprise.
Tonight DH is working so I am just hanging at home with the boys. Tomorrow I will probably go do a little bit of shopping for the last of the things I need for the boys party next week. Saturday night we have an overnight sitter and are going to a surprise 60th birthday party for a neighbor. It actually should be fun as we go camping with them (and just about my whole neighborhood) every Labor Day and end up having a blast.
Sunday, DH will need to get some sleep before heading into to work, so I will probably go visit my dad and take the boys swimming in their pool. Only time will tell.
Have a great day everyone!
Good morning, all! Just sitting here trying to a) cancel a ticket and b) get doctor's appointments for the H and me. Both involve way too much phone wait time!
Today's my last day off before the new job, so I'm excited and nervous. I really want to get started, but I enjoyed this past week a lot. Today I plan on going to the gym, taking some stuff to get tailored, and generally vegging out. I woke up a bit too early for my liking, but what're you going to do?
This weekend will be low key, just the general errands and what not.
Hope everyone has a great one.
We've got thunderstorms today, so I think it will be a relaxing night at home...hopefully. It never works that way on the weekends for us.
Last night I convinced DH to go out to eat and totally overstuffed myself. I always do that! I was so uncomfortable last night and really thought I'd be tasting it all a 2nd time. Bleh.
Might be getting in some pool time this weekend and hopefully putting down the last little square of flooring in the nursery to finish that up. The problem is this last little square is where all of our moldings for the doors are, so DH will probably swear through most of it and give up.
Happy Friday!
I loved watching the Anniversary Special! I'm so happy the show is touring again too, I can't wait for them to come to Boston next year.
Joe Jonas' voice is nice for more popular music, but compared to the seasoned Broadway singers he was performing with, his voice just was not nearly strong enough. The guy who sang the part of Enjolras completely upstaged him, even though Enjolras is a relatively minor character.
(Also, I'm not familiar with the Jonas brothers at all, but does he always look so constipated when he sings?)
I agree. Enjolras did an awesome job (though he was not as good looking at the 10th anniversary special one).
I also totally agree with the constipated look on Joe's face the whole time. WTF dude?
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Today Myles has a doctors appointment, and then more friends and family are coming over. We still have a few things to unpack, and then I plan on relaxing! We do need to take one of the extra cribs to my parents house this weekend and set it up for when Myles hangs out over there. I am looking forward to my Nephew's 1st bday party, because it's a pool party!
I also plan on making some fun dishes I haven't had a chance to try yet while the baby sleeps.
Yay, Friday! Last night was quiet. I got in a workout and did some reading. Nothing too excited.
Kyle gets home tonight and then we have the farmer's market tomorrow. We'll get in some quality time together during the farmer's market since I think he's working oot again next week. I currently have no plans for Sunday which is awesome because my house could definitely use some help. Have a great weekend, ladies!
happy Friday! sorry raynes! now you know what it's like to be in my head on Fridays.
nothing crazy going on this weekend - taking our original two foster kittens to the vet this evening for their second round of vaccinations. also, little Buckwhat has had some diarrhea, so I'm REALLY hoping he didn't catch all the crap that Skillet has. we'll see.
tomorrow we're just doing housework and putting together our new dining room table we picked up at IKEA last weekend. I also want to start finally hanging things on the walls, and maybe spray paint our shutters. and I have a Brazilian wax appointment too.
Sunday will be cleaning and relaxing, and then True Blood.

Good morning, ladies.
You're getting so close, ringy - looking forward to baby ringy's arrival!
More thunderstorms today, but I'm not getting off early so it doesn't matter anyway. Lots to do before we go camping next week, and go to my brother's wedding next month.
Have a great day, everyone!
Yay for Friday! Today is going to be super busy. I have a bunch of loan documents I need to get out to clients today, and I've been putting it off all week. So time to buckle down and get through them. Once I get started it won't be bad, it's just the getting started, you know?
Last night B and I went to CB2 and bought some nightstands. FINALLY! Thanks Eva for all your suggestions. Our bedroom looks totally transformed and much bigger now that we've gotten rid of the one massive nightstand and replaced it with two smaller ones.
Tonight I'm headed to happy hour with a friend, and then the rest of the weekend will be spent hanging out outside and straightening up the house for the workmen starting next week.
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend!

Durrr, yup, you're 100% correct. They all sort of blur together for me.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Happy Friday!
I love Les Miz. I saw it in Atlanta a bazillon years ago and it's coming to the Kennedy Center next season. I agree, Colm Wilkinson has the most divine voice.
Tomorrow we are going to Six Flags to ride things that go fast and upside down.
I'm very excited, especially since we used Coke reward points and got free tickets.
Sunday, we are seeing Next to Normal at the Kennedy Center.
Somewhere in all that we need to get groceries and I'd like to get a pedicure.

B had to literally haul me out of the store before I spent our life savings. I think I could just buy one of everything
Oh that's right! Nick!
Happy Friday.
This weekend is going to consist of a lot of getting baby stuff ready. I am really hoping to start priming and painting and pick out furniture this weekend. I cannot handle putting this nursery off any longer.
I have some cleaning to get done as well.
Maybe DH and I can sneak a date night in there too!
Have a great weekend ladies.
Happy Friday! I normally have off on Fridays, but I decided to make up some tutoring time I missed earlier this week. Tonight we don't have much going on. We may have some friends over to hang out in the bar room.
If the weather cooperates, we will head to to the Jersey Shore tomorrow (not that one, we would be further south). Then it's gyros on the boardwalk.
Sunday we will probably just run some errands, and then True Blood for us!
Have a good weekend ladies!
Yay for Friday, I need a weekend to recharge.
I found out my brother is getting divorced. It's been a long time coming, I just wish they would have done it before they brought a kid into the mix. His wife is certainly trying to take him through the ringer.
Step-daughter gets here on Sunday. We're super happy to see her, but I'm not sure I'm ready for the tears of her missing home and the promises her mom makes to her about what WE will do for her.
This has been the longest short week ever. Today I'm planning to go visit Olivia at my mom's house during lunch. As a bonus my mom is making lunch for me so I don't have to go out and buy anything. Tonight we'll likely pick up dinner somewhere and then go to Manuel's softball game after.
Tomorrow I have cleaning, laundry and more unpacking to do. In the evening we're supposed to meet up with some friends for dinner. I'm looking forward to hanging out with them since it's been a while since we last hung out.
Sunday, no real plans. Maybe more stuff around the house and grocery shopping. I'd like to get some rest and just hang out at home if we can. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Happy Friday!
I'm counting down the hours until the party bus picks me up at my front door! J and I are going with a few other couples and some single ladies to see Kenny Chesney tonight. He's playing at Red Rocks Amphitheater, which is one of the coolest concert venues in the world!
Tomorrow we'll be recovering from tonight.
Sunday I'm going to the farmers market with J's cousin and then probably just do some house/yard work.
Have a great weekend ladies!
I saw this posted on your facebook and am unbelievably jealous.
I'm so glad it's Friday. I need a few days off.
Tomorrow I plan on getting in a run and then spending time with some friends around the pool.
Sunday is my friends bridal shower so it will be a pretty hectic day. Hopefully I get some rest this weekend!
One of my friends went to that concert. Said it was amazing, even with the rain.
