Any big, exciting weekend plans??

I'm back at work today (boo!) but it is my last day working my current schedule (yay!). No big plans for Saturday, I want to go to the Blue Angels show at the beach but H has no desire. Sunday I start my new schedule at work.

IL's are arriving Sat, staying for a week. I'm excited they're coming, so DH and I can have a few moments to ourselves. But I'm also dreading it because MIL tends to try to take over and make everything convenient for FIL, who is a pouter/the silent type, expecting the boys to be flexible. 

I already told DH that any and all discipline with be ONLY by us, nap/bed times will be strictly enforced, and a few other ground rules. I've learned from the past, and am NOT afraid of being the b!tch if I need to. 

Luckily, DH took the entire week off this time, so I don't have to "entertain" during the day.

We're going to see Horrible Bosses tonight if I'm up to it. Tomorrow I have 2 baby showers and we're going to replant the side gardens. Sunday we've got church then down to Ormond Beach for an engagement party. Should be a fun weekend, not too busy, which is what I need in a weekend these days!

Trying to find bedding for the guest bedroom. SIL and nephew are coming next weekend, so I have additional motivation to get stuff done.

Tonight I am going to start washing baby clothes and finish my thank you cards.

Tomorrow night we are going to Lime Leaf for dinner and to see Horrible Bosses.

Sunday is church and pool

Oh I have a very exciting weekend planned. It involves painting a second coat on both bathrooms tonight and then starting on painting furniture. Then tomorrow, painting the living/kitchen/dining room first coat and potentially a second coat depending on how early I finish and how fast it dries. Then Sunday I'll be doing more painting. Either baseboards and moldings, furniture, or other stuff. So basically, painting, painting, and more painting.

 The only little bit of fun we have planned this weekend is a birthday party for our friend's little girl at their neighborhood pool. It will be nice to get out of the house.

One of my best friends is down in Clearwater visiting her dad from NYC.  She is moving to Thailand in a month!  She is supposed to come uo tomorrow to go out on the boat, but I have not heard from her since tuesday despite texts, etc.  We will see.  DS is also starting to get a cold I thnk.

Tonight I'm going out for a movie and a few drinks with one of my girl friends. Tomorrow we're driving down to my mom's just for the day to visit w/my step brother, his wife and 2 little girls who are visiting from Alabama. My sister and her family are meeting us there so it will be nice to see everyone. Sunday we'll do the usual chores and hopefully relax a little bit.

I can't think of any plans that we have this weekend, which is really nice.  Sunday is usually chore day anyway, so at least I know I can count on making the bed and taking out the trash.

I have to work tomorrow (week 4 of 5) and then DH and I are going to go see my sister and her BF in Ocala. Sunday we have GOT to seriously start packing.

We're doing matermity pictures tomorrow (nothing like waiting 'til the last minute!) and have friends coming over to grill on Sunday.. that's it.  We're keeping our calendar open in case this little one decides to come early.

We had plans with friends, but I think they might be cancelled now since I'm getting sick and they have a 2 month old.

SO glad it's the weekend again. I scored an awesome vintage chest on CL for $20 and I'm going to refinish it this weekend and turn it into a coffee table. Super excited about this project.
