So last night D decided he wanted to be wide awake and screaming from about 1-3am. I couldn't get him to settle down in the bedroom (his bassinet is next to our bed) so I brought him out to the living room so that Ricky could try and get some sleep. The plan was to catch up on a bunch of posts that I have missed and let D listen to some music. But No... The Nest and Bump were down for maintenance.
He finally zonked at 3, then was up between 530 -6... and now at 945 he is still out.
Any suggestions on how to keep him more awake during the day. He is only 2 weeks old and loves to sleep (all day).

I agree with this!
Also, Parker won't sleep well in a pack-n-play or his bassinett so we spent the first 3 weeks on the couch together. That was the only way either of us got any sleep.
We had Mags in her crib from day 1 and she did well in it. Lacey - could you try that? Our house is set up so our bedrooms are next to each other so I was comfortable with her in her own room.

Thanks for the ideas ladies - I posted and then crawled back in bed! He sleeps well in his PnP or Crib during the day so he might end up in his room sooner rather than later.
I feel bad for Ricky. I get to go back to bed during the day and he is working.
ugh, this!
