You guys who think I've always got stuff going on are totally vindicated this week.
Today I might go play some volleyball after work, but my shoulder's been bothering me all week so we'll see (on a side note, I'm so sad about all my aches lately. I feel so old!)
Tomorrow we have dinner plans with some friends we haven't seen in a while and hopefully get to meet their new dog. I also have dentist appointment to get some fillings--boo!
Sunday I'm meeting up with a Nestie from my other local board and her DH for brunch.
For real, where did the rain come from? I am pretty good about watching the weather forecasts, too.
Good luck with the filling tomorrow. I hope it's early so you will be able to enjoy your dinner! I am appreciating chewing with the left side of my mouth today.

We are going out to dinner with a bunch of friends tonight. To one of those fix the food on the table hibachi places.
I have no idea about the rest of the weekend. I think my mom wants to get mani/pedi with me tomorrow. I dunno. She is making us dinner tomorrow night- her spag and meat sauce. I'm excited.
Dinner plans tonight, my Aunt is throwing a Margaritas&Mexican party tomorrow night, and my mother invited us over for lunch on Sunday.
But what I really want to do is SEW with my new sewing machine haha
Nothing really planned this weekend. DH is heading up to Maine tomorrow so DD and I will figure something out together. Maybe a farmers market.
Sunday I hope to relax. And knit. But my old job just sent me some freelance work, so I'll likely take some time to read a 16-page article on molecular design *yawn*

I don't have much planned for the weekend. H ended up taking overtime so he'll be working all day today and tomorrow. I'm trying to make plans with my sister to take my niece someplace fun tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll just be hanging out around the house and maybe spending some time with my ILs. Same thing Sunday. At least H will be home for part of the day.
Bartending in Harvard Square tonight (I fill in once in a while when someone needs a night off).
Tomorrow DH and I are going to see Super 8 and then out to dinner.

Well, I'm a drinker....if only we didn't live so far away from Boston now. I love the size of our place and having new areas to explore, but an hour into Boston is killing our already small social life.......and making it hard to find a job that's not an hour commute. Sorry, I think the sitiing at home everyday is getting to me
On to happy stuff....well, DH is doing sidework tomorrow in Somerville. But we made tentative plans to see our friend's new place on Sunday, which I had forgotton about, should be fun!
Poor DH....rode his bicycle into work this morning...almost beat the rain, but he started raining with 2 miles to go, about the same time his seat broke! Had to finish the ride in the rain, with no seat....poor guy!
That sounds awesome; I'm up for it anytime.

Tonight- we went out to celebrate DH's promotion he got today- I'm very proud of him!
Tomorrow- I'm on call starting at 8am, and I'm driving to Rockport to do some sewing projects with DH's aunt. DH is going to paint the nursery/ guestbedroom room
Sunday- trying to convince DH to go to Ikea... still on call... painting???
I met him for lunch, said Hi to my old coworkers (me & DH worked together until I left there at the end of May), threw the bike in the back of our Rav4 and he worked from home the rest of the afternoon. We just need to get him a bicycle that is meant for the type and amount of riding he is doing now (much cheaper than a 2nd car too ).
How are you decorating the nursery?
Nothing too crazy, I think... we painted 3 of the walls a light gray and kept the wall with the crib on it off-white. There will be a cute decal over the crib... and I'm making the crib skirt & curtains (well, DH's aunt is since I don't have a sewing machine). I'm going to get a duvet for the guest bed & lamps from IKEA. Maybe hang some stars or poms from ceiling. No mobile or anything that is going to make the cat try to climb the walls to get it! I think he'd leave the poms alone (at least, I think he would).
