And its alright. I love the order and all as I approved it and moved a few things around and such, but i'm disappointed in the quality of the album itself and the photo quality in it too. It's not really like the ones they showed us.
Whatever, i'm just glad to finally have it and have all of that wedding nonsense over with lol

Re: Finally got our album...
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
My album is ready and waiting to be approved. I'm not thrilled with it, though. I feel like I could have saved myself a ton of money and just made one through Shutterfly or something. I have been procrastinating because I want to take the time to really look through it and fix anything that's glaringly not the way I would like it. DH keeps complaining since we don't have that or our wedding video in hand one year later. (The album is my fault, and my mom has been talking with the videographer who moved his studio right after our wedding, which apparently put him a year behind.)
It's too bad none of you love your albums, I'm sure they were a pricy addition.
We don't have ours yet either, because I'm making it myself. It's looking really good (on screen), and I love the layouts I've created, but man when you are personally invested in the all of the photos... it takes forever!

I would question it...I mean this is your wedding album if you don't think it is the same quality ask if you can see an example in person. If it's the same you'll feel better if it's not well then they will have to fix it. You paid for the album so I would make sure your happy and it's as it was promised.

Congrats that you have it! Our guy said he would have it by July 2nd (but I knew he wouldn't;I knew he'd be at his lake house that weekend!) Hopefully next time we go home.
I was at a cousin's wedding this weekend.. and by last night their photographer already sent them 90 pictures. I was totally jealous!!
What exactly don't you like about your album?
A good photographer will not be creating an album that is of similar photography to shutterfly... as a photographer I can tell you that the minimum for a press printed album (which is as close to the quality of shutterfly as I can compare but not even the same) costs US at least $100 for a 5x7 10 page book. The pages are archival quality guaranteed by our printers to last 100+ years (whereas the shutterfly quality albums are about 10-20 if you are very careful with it). They are usually safe against water damage. The printing process is much much different. This is where the high cost comes from! That being said, I HOPE you are getting what you are paying for!
As for not liking your album, is it the design? The lay-out? The photos themselves? Were you able to select the photos you wanted? This is defintiely something you should talk to your photographer about before it is printed. I would hate to hear from anyone that any of my couples resented their wedding photos/album I made them. Speak up! They will appreciate it!
