Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

T&P Update
They ended up taking my Aunt D into surgery yesterday afternoon to relieve the swelling/blood. Last night she opened her eyes for the first time for a few seconds, which was a great sign. She also tries to speak but it sounds like a soft mumbling. We are very relieved for those small, but very positive signs. Her MRI & CT scan today showed that there is still active bleeding occurring. They will repeat the scans every 4 hours today and monitor the progression very closely.
My cousin, S, went and saw her mom today. She only stayed in the room for a few minutes before she couldn't handle it any longer.
Another upsetting thing in all of this is that my Aunt D just started a brand new job about 3 weeks ago with a new company. Therefore she has no FMLA/STD coverage available. She will not be returning to work, if at all for months most likely which means that all of this time is unpaid and she may no longer have a job waiting for her if she is able to make a full recovery. IDK when the court proceedings will begin but I really hope they catch the a$$hole who hit her and left... it makes me so mad...
