QOTD - 7.11.2011

Which of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World do you most want to see?

7 Natural Wonders:

Aurora (Northern Lights)
Great Barrier Reef
Grand Canyon
Paricutin
Victoria Falls
Mount Everest
Harbor of Rio de Janiero

Re: QOTD - 7.11.2011

  • Victoria Falls

On that list, the only one I've seen is the Grand Canyon.

  • I haven't seen any of them, and I'm going to say Grand Canyon.  I *know* I'll see it eventually, but if I die tomorrow I'd be saddest about not seeing one of my country's most famous landmarks.
  • Great Barrier Reef.

But tough question today.  I'd love to see any of them. But I will see the Great Barrier Reef at some point.

  • Probably the aurora.  I think that would be so cool.

I have seen the Grand Canyon.  It's awesome.

You can see it in Sweden.Stick out tongue

It wasn't the right time of year when we were there and that made me sad.

  • I've seen the Grand Canyon (only from an airplane, though) and snorkeled at the Great Barrier Reef.

I think the next on the list that I would most like to see is Harbor of Rio de Janiero.

Since Andy went to MTU, he saw the Northern Lights all the time.  I am jealous. :-P

  • I've seen the Northern Lights in Allendale and at Higgens Lake.  I can't imagine seeing them more north, that must be amazing.

I had no idea what Paricutin is, so I looked it up.  If I had to, maybe someone else doesn't know: volcano in Mexico.

    Victoria Falls is my choice.

I didn't know you could see them this far south.  Neat.

  • Yeah... it's sounds goofy to say, but it was a magical night.  We went out to see a meteorite shower, and in addition lights.  Beautiful.

  • I would have to say the Northern Lights. That is the one I would most want to see in person. Some of them I'm ok just seeing pics of.

I had to look up a couple of them to figure out what/where they were.  Embarrassed

  • I've only seen one - snorkeled at the Great Barrier Reef.

I would want to see the Northern Lights and Victoria Falls.
