The world is not filled with unicorns that poop rainbows. This is an internet chat board and you should not take things seriously.

It's just said that a handfull of us can leave and the board dies. It just proves that the couple of us are clearly here for our own conversations that entertain other people.

Also, do any of the older posters remember the gmail chat group?  It was used a few years back, and it worked well for a while, it kept out the stalkers and people were actually more open.  FB is much better than the gmail set up though!!

I'm referring to people making general references (kinda like I just did), stating things like "people getting their panties in a bunch" and "people getting their feelings hurt".  I read this board every single day and I rarely see when people are getting upset about.  I know that you, Jess, like to be snarky or funny which I honestly find most, if not all, of your posts hilarious.  I agree with Katie's statement in the DD'd post that it's difficult to catch the tone of some posts which is why I don't understand why people on public message boards get so personally offended.

conversation can be a little more personable and some girls know each other IRL and at least much better than others... so if i have comments directed at kbaby... like i want to tell her what a slut she is, why do it on here when i can do it infront of our friends... thats all.

i have been posting on TN for about 4 years now... never did the knot so i don't know any of the girls from there... i have seen girls come and go because they didn't like what was being posted... its just how it goes... i don't put much stock into it.

I was starting to wonder what had happened with everyone, as I noticed some ladies arent around as much.  You ladies have been my entertainment when I happened to get a few minutes down time at work, which doesnt happen a lot, so Im not really a regular.  I miss my entertainment :-)

Wow!  I was off work (and the board) today and...wow!  I feel the same way as Mrs.  MGM. I haven't noticed drama. I enjoy the board and post when I can contribute. Hope to continue to do so with a good group!
