Anyone use this before? Shake n Seed

http://www.outsidepride.com/seed/ground-cover-seed/

I thought this would be an easy way to grow ground covering.  It doesn't look like I can spread the seeds until the fall when the weather is cooler (for most of the seeds).  Right now I have mulch in the area where I want the ground covering to grow.  Do you think I need to rake away the mulch and put down the seeds and than push back the mulch?  Or do you think I can put it over the mulch?  I'm thinking it won't grow if I just put it over the mulch.  If you have had any experience using this shake n seed I would love to hear about it.  thanks

  • I used the wildflower mix when we first moved in, it grew VERY well (way too well). Very easy and matienence free.
