Re: 16 lb baby born Friday
DX: MFI
Taking a break from being poked and prodded
Yikes! Holy huge kid.
Also, did anyone think the interview was hilarious? They gave like 2 word answers to every quesiton...
Ann: You said you'd been feeling tired, and with a 16 lb baby, we can understand why. How are you feeling now?
Mom: Okay.
Ann: You had gestatational (sp?) diabetes. Are doctors concerned about the baby having this condition? Or do you they'll think he'll be fine?
Mom: He's fine.
LOL
Yikes. He looks like a little sumo wrestler.
I guess I can't blame the mom for the minimal responses. She looks pretty freakin' worn out, and understandable. I'd be pretty cranky.
OMG I heard this whole uncomfortable interview!!! I'm not a fan of Ann Curry so I was really laughing inside when I heard this taking place.
I don't have sound on my laptop, but I'm going to watch this interview again on the desktop comp. in a little bit. It sounds hilarious.
For sure! Even though it was a C-section, my crotch hurts just thinking about that!
I guess I do not understand how: A. a 16 pound baby fit inside her. My baby was 8 lbs 13 oz and she came 3 weeks early because she ran out of space. B. her doctors either did not notice that she was carrying a toddler or she did'nt have prenatal care?
I was measuring wayyyyy ahead since 31 weeks and my doctors were all over it with ultrasounds, weekly appointments, and talk of induction/c section because my baby was going to be "huge" LMAO.
And even though she had a C section I bet that was rough on her too. My not even 9 pounder was wedged in so tight that a doctor had to climb on me and push from my ribs while another doctor pulled from the incision. Bet she is really sore. =(
This! Yikes!
I saw something on yahoo about this I was staying away. The last thing I need is nightmares about birthing a toddler for the next 6 months!
