Yes, nice people is the one thing I miss most about home. I go back and forth about moving back. My H on the other hand would be another challenge. Although the first time I took him back (to Newman Grove which is just a bit further than Lindsay) was for a funeral and he was amazed at how the whole town came together and helped out our family.
And funny story about the lack of anywhere to eat..I was going to my grandpa's in Newman a couple months ago and there was a detour on that Hwy 81 ( I think, I get 81 and 91 mixed) Anyway the bridge right outside of Humphrey was out so my bright idea was well I'll just go through Madison (which is waaaay out of the way) but I was starving and figured I'd get something there to eat. Well yeah right, it being late and all not a damn thing was open so I wasted all that time! I should've know in a small town nothing is open late!
